Traveler was a great show!It had all the makings of a show that would pull you deeper and deeper until there was now way out. I know it did me.. and it was only on the air for eight episodes! ABC, in all of their ultimate wisdom, devised this strategy to help the show: 1) moving it from a fall release to summer. STRKE 1! 2) Little to no promotion. STRKE 2! 3) Cutting the show down from 13 episodes to only eight. STRIKE 3! And for some inexplicable reason, ABC didn't feel the show had enough viewers. What else could they expect? Alas, it's all over now, the fat lady has sung... Rest In Peace, Traveler
On the positive side, the creater of the show, Dave DiGilio, wrote a celebrity blog, which you can read at TV Guide.com, as well as huge amounts of postings on the Internet Movie Database boards. I found his blogs entertaining, and the last one made me wish sooooo much the outcome would have been different. |
I guess there's always something new coming around, and it might be good.. but I have a feeling I'll be watching it on a different network.
